PentivoPrivacy policy

Pentivo does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics in the app.
Your scores
Scores are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account. We cannot see them and they never pass through a server of ours, because there isn't one.
Sharing with other people
When you invite someone to edit a score, Apple's iCloud shares it directly with the people you choose. When you edit together on a FaceTime call, the session runs through Apple's SharePlay. We are not part of either.
Microphone and speech recognition
The microphone is used only while you choose to write by listening, and never in the background. Turning sound into notes and chords happens on your device. Dictation uses Apple's speech recognition, which Apple may process as described in its own privacy policy. Pentivo keeps no recordings.
Camera, photos and files
Photos, scans and PDFs you open are read on your device to become a score. They are not uploaded anywhere.
Purchases and gift codes
Purchases and gift codes are handled entirely by Apple. Pentivo only receives confirmation that Pro is unlocked. We never see your payment details.
Diagnostics
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device's settings, Apple may give us anonymous, aggregated figures such as crash reports and download counts. They cannot identify you.
This website
pentivo.site has no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers. Its fonts are served from this site. It stores two things in your browser: the language you pick (a cookie named pv_lang) and the melody you write on the staff (local storage), so they are still there when you return. Neither leaves your browser. Our hosting and network providers keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security; we do not use them to identify visitors.
Children
Pentivo is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can delete everything Pentivo stores by removing the app and, in Settings, its data in iCloud. For any question, write to us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
